School District of Tomahawk to hold parent/teacher conferences remotely

TOMAHAWK – The School District of Tomahawk announced on Wednesday, Jan. 27 that its parent/teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11 and Friday, Feb. 12 will be held remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Conferences will be scheduled individually with families at a time of day that is accessible to both the parents and teacher,” the district said. “Individual conferences can be scheduled to be held virtually or by phone.”

High school and middle school conferences will be scheduled between Monday, Feb. 8 and Friday, Feb. 12. Elementary school conferences will be scheduled between Monday, March 8 and Friday, March 12.

“Families requesting to conference with a teacher may contact the teacher(s) by phone or email to schedule a date and time for the conference,” the district stated. “Teacher contact information can be found on the District website under Staff Directory. If possible, please contact high/middle School teachers prior to Feb. 8 to schedule your conference. If you have any further questions please contact the individual building principal.”
