Gregory M. Parkinson, age 40, of Tomahawk, passed away as the result of a snowmobile mishap on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
Greg was born on Sept. 25, 1980 in Downers Grove, Ill., to Thomas and Barbara (Hoar) Parkinson. He had graduated from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, Wis. and currently enrolled at Nicolet College. Greg had worked as an auto mechanic. He loved fishing and having fun with his family.
Greg is survived by his dad – Tom Parkinson of Tomahawk; and siblings – Tom Parkinson of Bloomington, Ill., Eric (Jill) Parkinson of Westchester, Ill., Nicole (Charlie) Jones of Tomahawk and Ryan Parkinson of Tomahawk. He is further survived by his girlfriend – Tonya Nelson of Eagle River, and niece and nephew – Izabella and Anthony.
Greg is preceded in death by his mom – Barb.
A Memorial Service celebrating Greg’s life will take place in the summer.
