North 4th Strength’s holiday row challenge raises money for local charities, organizations

North 4th Strength Gym in Tomahawk recently hosted a 100,000-meter holiday row challenge to raise funds for local charities. Each North 4th Strength member chose their local charity. “My gym members work very hard at raising money for our community,” said Joan Litwitz, owner of North 4th Strength.

Supported by friends and family, Blair Otterholt raised $1,115 for Kinship of Tomahawk. Derek Tassler, not pictured, raised $400 for the organization. Photos submitted by Joan Litwitz.

 

Melissa Nieman and Joan Litwitz raised $700 for the Tomahawk Police Department’s K9 Unit, supporting new K9 Pipo and Officer Mike Krich.

 

Nicki Chrisopulos raised over $500 for Ties That Bind Us.

 

Melissa Long raised funds for Our Sisters’ House Homeless Shelter. Long raised $600, along with a generous match from her husband John and another $100 from members Beth Voermans and Connie Patrick.
