Roger K. Massa, age 71, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 25, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Roger was born in Tomahawk on July 9, 1949 to Theodore and Marian (Feind) Massa. He worked in forestry as the owner/operator of Roger Massa Forest Products. He was formerly married to Mary Kibler and together they have three children. Roger spent his last five years with Mary Wydeven. Roger loved grilling, time spent on the water and camping. He also enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and fixing practically everything.
Roger is survived by his children – Melanie Massa of Tomahawk, Matt Massa of Muskego and Daniel (Jennifer) Massa of Lakeville, Minn.; his significant other – Mary Wydeven; and six grandchildren – Jordan McAllister, Mitch McAllister, Lindsey Lampe, Zachary Massa, Cole Massa and Logan Massa. Roger is further survived by his two brothers – Mike Massa and Patrick (Jill); five sisters – Janet (Monica) Massa, Judy (Shane) Potratz, Debbie (Jack Schatzke) Massa, Joan (Dave) Thompson and Cindy (Dave) Skow; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, brother – Joe Massa, and two sisters – Kathy Ledvina and Mary Kuntz.
The Funeral Service for Roger Massa will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Deacon Dave Bablick will officiate. Visitation took place on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In accordance with CDC Guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
