Todd M. Paulson

Todd M. Paulson, age 53, of Tomahawk, passed away on his birthday, Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Todd was born in Green Bay, Wis., on December 15, 1967, to the late Raymond and Kaye (Morstad) Paulson. He was married to Ute Zalger on Sept. 16, 2005; she survives.

Todd “Snake” Paulson grew up in Seymour, Wis., where he was a 1986 graduate of Seymour High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1990. Todd moved to Milwaukee and worked in management at Home Depot for several years before relocating to the Home Depot in Green Bay; this is where he met the love of his life, Ute. They moved to Tomahawk in 2003, where he was employed at the Home Depot in Rhinelander, Wis. He also worked at Linetec in Wausau. Todd enjoyed collecting guns, history books, reading, antiques, woodworking, and enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, he loved spending time with Ute and his dogs. Todd’s final quote on Facebook was “Ute’s home; watching Tomahawk sunset; sucking down an old fashioned; listening to Kinks cd…life is good.”

Survivors include his wife, Ute Paulson, of Tomahawk; one brother, Kerry (Trisha) Paulson, of Green Bay; and one sister, Wendy (Chris) Laswell, of Appleton, Wis. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Steven, Mitchell, Michael, Elisabeth, Justin, Alex, Aubrey, Connor, and Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Kaye.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory, Tomahawk, is assisting the family. View Todd’s obituary and leave online condolences at www.generationsfuneral.com.
