Jeanette F. Alford, 85, of Hay Creek Lane, Tomahawk, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at her home with her family by her side.

Jeanette was born March 30, 1935 in Woodruff to Robert and Ida (Barnhart) Powell. She was formerly married to James Hebert and later was married to Robert Alford. Jeanie had worked for the Civil Service Department in California and the state of Washington for 40 years.

Survivors include two sons, Jim (Karen Tucker) Hebert of Tomahawk and Gerald Hebert of Washington. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Jason (Veronica) Hebert and Elizabeth (Thomas) Sheridan, one great grandson, Devin, and a niece and many nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, and her first husband, Jim Hebert.
