For the Tomahawk Leader

MINOCQUA – The Tomahawk Hatchet varsity boys hockey team traveled to Lakeland on Thursday, Dec. 3, and fell to a tough Thunderbirds squad 21-0.

Coach Chris Bembinster said that although the start to the Tomahawk skaters’ season was “rough,” there were some positive signs shown in the game against a team that has one of the best players in the GNC.

“We did show, in a few plays, what we will be capable of as the season rolls forward,” Bembinster stated. “We learned a lot tonight and now with a tough lesson behind us, we (will) work at getting better.”
