MERRILL – A 47-year-old Tomahawk man remains in the custody of the Lincoln County jail on $25,000 cash bond, facing charges related to a November incident in the Town of Tomahawk.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office, on Sunday, Nov. 1, Edwin R. Juedes reportedly entered a residence in the Town of Tomahawk without permission and had sexual contact with the victim in the case, while the victim was asleep. The victim reportedly awoke during the incident and was able to identify Juedes before pushing him out of the victim’s bedroom and locking the door.

A third party inside the residence confronted Juedes in the kitchen of the residence, asking why Juedes was inside the residence. Juedes reportedly advised he was helping a roommate get home, before fleeing the residence.

Juedes appeared in Lincoln County Circuit Court on Monday, Nov. 16, facing felony charges of second degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim and burglary to a building or dwelling. He is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday, Dec. 16 for an adjourned initial appearance.
