Linda graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1964. After graduating, she moved to Milwaukee, Wis., and attended Marvel School of Cosmetology.

Linda married Dennis Hinterleitner in 1965. Together they had two daughters, Tina and Teri. Linda stayed at home with her girls; she volunteered at their school and church, and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. After her daughters were grown, she worked as a Deli Manager at Bautsch’s 29 Super for 22 years. She continued working in food service for the next six years as a head cook for an insurance company until her retirement. Her greatest joy in life was being Nana to her grandchildren. Linda’s grandchildren meant the world to her and she would do anything for them. Just recently, she was blessed to be able to meet her first great-grandson, Porter.

Linda loved to travel. She always felt very lucky to have had the chance to see so many different places in the world. Linda loved all holidays. She really loved any time family would come together. She especially loved 4th of July in Tomahawk. She welcomed everyone into her home and offered food, drink, and even the occasional haircut. Many considered her their second Mom. Linda was a phenomenal cook and baker. Her recipes will be cherished forever. Linda loved any kind of games. She was happiest sitting around a table with family and friends, playing cards, trivia, Pictionary, and especially charades. She loved playing softball, shooting pool, cross country skiing and tending to her gardens and flowers.

Linda will be missed by her children, Tina (Terry) Ellenbecker, Teri (Darryl) Goebel; her grandchildren, Jaryd (Emily) Ellenbecker, Kacie (Cody) Ahrens, Chloe and Sophie Goebel; great-grandson, Porter Ahrens; two sisters, Judi Hufschmid and Jane Zernach; numerous nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.
