Carmella ‘Carm’ E. Bainbridge

Carmella “Carm” E. Bainbridge, age 85, of Tomahawk, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020.

Carm was born on July 14, 1935 in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Helen Thomas. She was married to George Bainbridge on Sept. 5, 1953 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Chicago. In 1986, George and Carm moved to Tomahawk permanently. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was involved in various church activities, including the Thrift Cellar. Carm loved playing cards and bunko. She was an excellent gardener and could grow anything beautifully. Carm’s most cherished time was spent with her family.

Carm is survived by her children – Jean (Andre) Kliczak of Lodi, Jane (Tim) Callahan of Wonder Lake, Ill., and Joseph (Chell) Bainbridge of Lodi; and three granddaughters – Kristi (Joe) Smith, Katie (James) White, and Amy (Troy Jonas) Thone. She is further survived by seven great-grandsons. Carm is preceded in death by her parents and husband – George.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Carm Bainbridge took place at 12 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy officiated. Visitation took place from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12 p.m. Burial immediately followed Mass in Calvary Cemetery.
