Patricia “Patty” Finstrom, 74, of 1933 County Highway Y, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at her home under the care of Aspirus Hospice and her loving husband, Finny.
Patty was born Aug. 20, 1946 in Peoria, Ill., to Joseph and Margaret Meyer. She had a 30-year relationship with Rich “Finny” Finstrom and were married in 2017. She owned and operated her own computer consulting firm in Illinois for many years. Patty and Finny were part-time residents of the Nokomis area for 30 years and had recently moved here full-time. She loved watching and hearing the birds. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and living in the northwoods.
Survivors include, her husband, Rich “Finny” Finstrom, two children, Krista (Tommy) King of Florida and Matt (Jacki) Finstrom of Illinois. She also survived by siblings, Joseph Meyer, Burlington, Wis.; Peggy Iobi, Yorkville, Ill.; and Sue Meyer, Sandwich, Ill. Patty is further survived by five grandchildren.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service for Patty Finstrom is being planned and will be announced next summer.
