Gerry has been a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for the past nine years. You’ll recognize him from his post at the Post Office where he rings frequently during the bell ringing season.

When asked why he volunteers for the Salvation Army and numerous other organizations, Gerry said, “If a you have the ability to do something for others, you should do it!”

If you have the ability to ring bells, the Salvation Army needs you this year. Sign up at www.registertoring.com, enter your zip code and follow prompts to pick a location and slot. If you don’t have computer access, please call Helen at 715-966-1500 or 715-612-0445, or contact the recruiter at your church to sign up for a slot.

If you can’t ring bells or hesitate to because of COVID-19, you can donate by sending a check made out to Salvation Army of Tomahawk, 108 W. Somo Ave, Tomahawk, Wis., 54487 or donate online at Salvation Army of Tomahawk Facebook page.
