Robert H. Hoppe, age 88, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully in Sacramento, Calif., on Aug. 3, 2020.

Bob was born on Nov. 20, 1931 in Ashland, Wis., to Ervin and Inez (Davis) Hoppe. He graduated from Tomahawk High School. After graduation, Bob entered into the US Navy. He served our country for four years. When Bob was honorably discharged from the Navy, he moved back to Tomahawk. He worked for many years at Harley-Davidson. In retirement, Bob lived in Florida. In Bob’s later years, he married Florence (Todin) Harthun.

Bob is survived by his niece – Diane McConnell and his great niece – Kathy Edwards, both of Sacramento, along with seven step-children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob will be especially missed by his 20/20.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and brothers – Lyle Rydeske, Ken Hoppe and Don Hoppe.

Bob will be buried privately with Military Honors in Greenwood Cemetery, in Tomahawk.
