A Merrill man, 37, was arrested early Thursday morning on multiple felony charges to include possession of methamphetamine and seven counts of felony bail jumping.

A deputy cited a Merrill youth, 16, on Friday for speeding. The deputy was monitoring traffic on US Hwy. 51 outside of Merrill when he observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted limit. A check of the radar showed the man was driving 106 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. He was cited for 41 MPH over. On Saturday evening a deputy monitoring traffic on US Hwy 51 at US Hwy. 8 stopped and cited an Illinois youth, 16, for traveling at 92 MPH in the 65 MPH zone. A short time later, a Merrill woman, 43, was cited near the same location for traveling at 90 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. In all cases, a conviction at the cited speed would result in an automatic license suspension.
