TOMAHAWK – Six golf carts were stolen from Inshalla Country Club, N11060 Clear Lake Rd., Tomahawk, late last week, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

The carts, which were parked in front of the Pro Shop, were taken sometime between late in the evening of Thursday, July 9, and the early morning hours of Friday, July 10.

According to a post on Inshalla’s Facebook page, it is believed the carts were driven off the property behind the green of hole 10 onto the Hiawatha Trail and then headed north toward the wayside at County Rd. A and U.S. Highway 8.

Those with information regarding the incident are asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office or notify Crime Stoppers at 715-536-3726, or by using the P3 app. Photo courtesy of Inshalla Country Club’s Facebook page.

“Now you don’t just haul 6 carts on any trailer unless it’s a very large trailer or multiple trailers,” the post said.

Inshalla asked for the public’s help to locate the stolen carts.

“It is unfortunate we even have to post this, however, any help we can get is great,” the post stated.

Those with information regarding the incident are asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 715-536-6272 or notify Crime Stoppers at 715-536-3726, or by using the P3 app.
