John Majerus was born June 6, 1955, despite what his Facebook status may say his birthday was not June 8 but he wanted to share it with the world and it being the birthday of the one and only Elvis Presley. He passed early Monday morning, June 22, 2020, at Glen Oaks Health and Rehab.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Orville and Evelyn Majerus and his brother Orville Majerus Jr. John was married to the love of his life, Theresa Majerus for 43 years. They have two sons, John Majerus and wife Jessica of Fayetteville, N.C., and Curtis D. Majerus and wife Brandi of Shelbyville, Tenn. John had three grandchildren; Corey and Camron Majerus of Fayetteville and Aria Majerus of Shelbyville.
John was a 1973 graduate of Tomahawk High School (Wisconsin) and worked at Hayes Brakes for 28 years. He loved the Green Bay Packers and all dogs. Everyone that knew him knows that each dog that found their way to his house we’re also known to add a few extra pounds.
John is survived by: his two sisters, Donna Arndt and Mary Krahn along with several nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Majerus would like to give a special thank you to all the staff of Vivian healthcare Of Shelbyville TN, they provided such great care for John over the last six months.
