Sex offender to be released from prison will reside in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY – A convicted sex offender will be released from prison on June 30 and will reside in Lincoln County, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

Damon Frederick

Damon Frederick, 21, was convicted of third degree sexual assault in Lincoln County court on Aug. 19, 2016 after sexually assaulting a five-year-old female stranger while swimming at a state park, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Frederick will be on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections until July 5, 2025 and will be required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program. The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry can be located at www.doc.wi.gov.
