While this Memorial Day was much different than those in the past as the Main Street Memories Car Show, graduation celebrations, class reunions and even the season kickoff to the Kwahamot Water Ski show all had to be delayed due to the pandemic, hopefully everyone took some time to remember the reason for Memorial Day and all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defending freedom. Despite there not being any public gatherings at local cemeteries this year, local veterans organizations made sure the graves of all fallen soldiers were marked with the American flag they fought so valiantly to defend.
