As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, May 4:
A Milwaukee man, 35, was arrested for second offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated on Friday evening following a report of a reckless driver in the Town of Bradley. He was also cited for open intoxicants, and second offense operating while revoked.
A Tomahawk man, 50, was arrested Friday evening on felony bail jumping charges following a disturbance in the Town of Tomahawk.
A road sign theft was reported in the Town of Russell Sunday morning. An unknown party removed a stop sign at the corner of Bradley St. and 1st Ave. If you have information regarding this theft, you are asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, where you may remain anonymous, or contact Crime Stoppers at 715-536-3726 or by using the P3 app.
The Lincoln County 911 center received a report of a structure fire on County Rd. P in the Town of Pine River Sunday evening. When deputies arrived, heavy smoke was observed, and the first deputy on scene attempted to extinguish the flames. The lone occupant was transported to Asprius Hospital in Wausau with unknown injuries. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Pine River Fire, Russell Fire, Corning Fire, Town of Hewitt Fire, Town of Texas Fire, and Wisconsin Public Service all responded to the scene. County Rd. P was shut down for about 1 ½ hours.
