She and her husband retired up to the Northwoods of Tomahawk, an area they had long loved and vacationed at. While living in Tomahawk, Betty and Maurie wrote and illustrated three children’s books together.

Betty is survived by her Husband, Maurice Norman, of Tomahawk; two Sons, Steven Norman, of Conover, Wis., and Jeffrey (Karen) Norman, of Apple River, Ill.; three Grandchildren, Tom Norman, of Fox Lake, Ill., Lisa Norman, of Woodstock, Il., Katherine Norman, of Madison, and Jacob Norman, also of Madison.
