During Catholic Schools Week in January, St. Mary’s School (Tomahawk), Holy Rosary (Medford), Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School (Rhinelander), and St. Francis Xavier (Merrill) participated in a Penny War to collect funds to send a veteran on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

“Our four schools collected a total of $4,136.04,” said St. Mary’s Principal Rita Lee. “We are thrilled to announce that we have collected enough funds to send four veterans on honor flights.”
