Susan Jean Bramann

Susan Jean Bramann, age 71, of Rhinelander, died on Feb. 26, 2020, in Iron Ridge, Wisc., at the home of her daughter. She was born on Oct. 14, 1948 in Rhinelander to Ray and Lois (Cook) Koshak.

Sue was a lifelong resident of Rhinelander. She graduated from the Rhinelander High School with the class of 1966. After her schooling she went to work for the Rhinelander Telephone Company and then for Montgomery Wards. After her children got a little older she went back to work, first for Rhinelander Office Supply and then with her brother at Tomahawk Builders Supply in Tomahawk.

Outside of her work and her family, Sue had many interests. She enjoyed line dancing, quilting, crocheting and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Sue was a lifelong member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was baptized and confirmed in Zion, attended Zion Lutheran grade school for her elementary education, and was an active member her entire life. She looked to her Lord and Savior for all of her hopes and concerns and raised her children to do the same.

Sue is survived by her daughters Tammy (Randy) Ament and Tanya (Jay) Wald, her son Rick (Jackie) Sparks, her seven grandchildren, her brothers Evan (Judith) Koshak, Rodney Koshak, Dennis (Diane) Koshak and Gregory (Wanda) Koshak, many Nieces and Nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Sue were held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Karl Schultz officiating. Visitation was held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home and Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
