Jill M. Thompson, 64, Rothschild, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Jill was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 8, 1956 to Harold and Lois (Mott) Thompson. Jill grew up in the Milwaukee area and later spent time in Chicago, Missouri, Tomahawk, and Rothschild. She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed quilting in her spare time.
Surviving Jill are her siblings, Jim (Sue) Thompson of Rothschild; Gail (Rick) Posner of Evergreen, Colorado; Teri DeGrand of Green Bay; and Thomas Thompson of Salem, Oregon. She is further survived by seven nieces and nephews (Jamie, Joe, Jeff, Abby Danielle, Derek, and Deanna) and seven great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lois, a sister, Lori Thompson, and her step father, Phil Wolf.
A Celebration of Jill Thompson’s life will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
