FOR THE TOMAHAWK LEADER

TOMAHAWK – Our Sisters’ House Homeless Shelter in Tomahawk will hold its fifth annual Souper Soup Challenge at St. Mary’s Corpus Christi Center, 320 E. Washington Ave., Tomahawk, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

Participating restaurants will bring hot soup to the event, enough to serve approximately 100-125 people, between 3:30 and 4 p.m., with serving beginning at 4:30 p.m. Each restaurant will have a representative present to serve their soup and accept their award.

A panel of judges will select the Golden Ladle Winner, and the People’s Choice Award will be selected by the diners, who will choose their favorite soup. Each diner will have the opportunity to vote.

Our Sisters’ House will provide crackers, rolls, refreshments and desserts.

Music, raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle will be featured. All funds raised will support Our Sisters’ House.

“We hope you can join the fun and support a great cause!” Our Sisters’ House said.

For more information, contact Jill or Gail at Our Sisters’ House at 715-224-3520.
