Hatchet swimmers to compete tonight at State Championship

The excitement is building as the Tomahawk Hatchet boys’ swim team prepares to travel to Madison later today (Friday) to compete in the WIAA D2 State Championship getting underway at the UW-Madison Natatorium starting at 6:30 p.m.

Hatchet senior Travis Phillips will compete as the #1 seed in the 50-yard free as well as look to make the podium in the 100 butterfly.

Phillips will join teammates Brady Tjugum, Trey Miller and Keaton Jed competing as part of the 200 free and 400 free relay that also qualified and will compete for a spot on the podium tonight.
