As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Feb. 17:
A Crandon man has been referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney on felony charges of theft by contractor after a deputy investigated a complaint of theft in the Town of Bradley.
A man, 29, who lists addresses in both Rhinelander and Appleton, was arrested Tuesday evening in the Town of Bradley on charges of third offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and three felony counts of bail jumping for violating bonds in the courts of Oneida and Outagamie County, was also cited for operating with a revoked license and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle after deputies investigated a reckless driver.
A Merrill man, 37, was arrested Thursday evening on a misdemeanor bail jumping charge. A deputy stopped the vehicle the man was driving for an equipment violation. The deputy learned the man was driving on a suspended driver’s license and was on bond in Lincoln County. A condition of the man’s bond required he not operate a motor vehicle unless licensed.
A Tomahawk man, 60, was arrested Friday morning after deputies went to a disturbance in the Town of Wilson. The suspect was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct.
Four people reported striking deer last week.
