Tomahawk’s Kaleb Kaminski Selected All-Region for UW-Whitewater Football

Kaleb Kaminski, a 2016 graduate of Tomahawk High School, is one of seven members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team who were named to the 2019 D3football.com All-West Region Team based on their performances during the regular season.

All seven players, who were each named first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, have helped UW-Whitewater reach the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Championship for the second straight year and 12th time in program history. The Warhawks claimed a share of the WIAC championship, the 37th in program history.

Kaminski was part of the league’s No. 1 scoring defense (15.3 points per game) and top-ranked rushing defense (58.7 yards per game). Kaminski leads the team and ranks ninth in the WIAC with 90 tackles, including 6.0 for a loss, and has forced a conference-best four fumbles.

Recently the Warhawks (13-1) advanced to take on North Central (13-1) of Naperville, Illinois, in the Stagg Bowl at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah, Texas in the NCAA Division 111 national championship game where the fell to the Cardinals 41-14. The last time UW-Whitewater won the Division 111 national title was back in 2014.
