Sheila Renee Lau, age 53, died on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at her home in Harrison, WI. Sheila was born in Wakefield, MI on Oct. 18, 1966 to Edward and Maxine (Hanganen) Doney.
Sheila attended schools in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1984. After graduating she attended Gogebic College for printing. While working in Rhinelander, Sheila met her husband Craig Lau and the two were married on Sept. 24, 2005.
Sheila was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tomahawk and her faith in her Lord was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed working on and improving their house and cabin with Craig and spending time with family and friends.
Sheila is survived by her husband Craig, parents Edward and Maxine Doney, brother Craig Doney of Ironwood, MI and many friends.
