FOR THE TOMAHAWK LEADER

TOMAHAWK – Salvation Army volunteers, along with honorary co-chairs Andy and Jamie Hein, gathered in front of Great Lakes Foods in Tomahawk on Friday, Nov. 15, to celebrate the kickoff of the 2019 Red Kettle Bell Ringing campaign.

Ringers will be seen throughout the Tomahawk area seeking donations to cover the expenses related to assisting those with emergency needs in the Tomahawk area.

Dennis and Wendy Mannering, co-coordinators of the Red Kettle marketing efforts, encourage those who wish to volunteer to ring to call 715-966-1500. Helen Hoover will assist in scheduling a time that works for them. Volunteers can also go to RegistertoRing.com and follow the prompts to sign up online.

Those who can’t volunteer to ring but would like to contribute to the Salvation Army effort are asked to send donations to Salvation Army of Tomahawk, 108 E. Somo Ave., Tomahawk, WI 54487.

“Thank you to all who have assisted or donated in the past! We need you again this year,” stated Dennis and Wendy Mannering.
