The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced on Oct. 28 that convicted sex offender Louis Bosinske would be released to Community Supervision, administered by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC), in Lincoln County on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The Sheriff’s Office noted that Bosinske is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.
Bosinske was convicted of 2nd degree sexual assault in Lincoln County on April 14, 2005. He was convicted of 3rd degree sexual assault on Aug. 7, 2007, also in Lincoln County. In both cases, Bosinske sexually assaulted two adult female acquaintances, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Bosinske will be on supervision with the DOC until Sept. 18, 2024. Upon release, he will be placed on Intensive Supervision and will be subject to the DOC Global Positioning System (GPS). Bosinske will be required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program.
