Gregory G. Zais, age 56, of Merrill, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019.

Greg was born Oct. 16, 1963 in Milwaukee, son of Edward and Janet (Shock) Zais. He exchanged vows with Linda Haig on July 1, 2018. She survives. Greg was a self-employed over the road truck driver. He enjoyed motorcycling, shooting pool, watching movies, and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Greg is survived by Linda Haig, Merrill; his parents, Edward and Janet Zais, Irma; his daughter, Jenna Zais, Wausau; his son, Isaac Zais; one granddaughter; a stepson, Jason Halbesleben, Merrill; his siblings, Cathie (Rick) Kluckman and Steve (Roberta) Zais, both of Merrill; and his nieces and nephews, Lynette Cavett, Heather (Tony) Hendrickson, Joshua Zais, Zachary Zais and Abby Zais.

A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at Ingman’s Parkway Pub in Tomahawk. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
