Robert “Bob” Anderson, age 81, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at Avanti Health Center in Minocqua under the care of Dr. Kate Hospice.
Bob was born March 9, 1938 in Owen, WI to Sigward G. & Linda (Niemi) Anderson. Bob served our country with the United States Army. He married Leola “Ole” Larson on January 2, 1958 in Owen. Bob was a salesman for Hutt Electric in Abbotsford for many years. Bob & Ole moved to the town of Little Rice in 1993 from Abbotsford. Bob was very handy and built his own home. He loved the outdoors – hunting, fishing and camping. Bob also enjoyed archery, riding his ATV and snowmobiling. He was a fan of the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Bob cherished his time spent with family and fishing with his good friend – Jerry Lemmer.
Bob is survived by his sons – Michael (Vicki) Anderson of Hazelhurst & Steven (Christine) Anderson of Milwaukee; and his siblings – Lester (Ginny) Gifford, Arlene (Dan) Mantsch, Donna (LeRoy) Misener & Dottie (Jim) Bjornstad. Bob is further survived by his grandson – Erik (Shannon) Anderson of Kronenwetter and his great grandson – Owen.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
