Travel Wisconsin’s Fall Color Report lists Lincoln County’s colors as being at about 60% of peak, with the peak expected during the second week of October.

Lincoln County’s fall colors are some of the more progressed in the state, according to the report. Douglas County in northwestern Wisconsin is the only other county seeing colors greater than 50% of peak.

Most northern counties are approaching the 50% threshold. Price, Oneida, Vilas and Langlade counties are all within 30% to 40%. Counties farther south, such as Marathon, Taylor and Shawano, are within 20% to 25%, as of Monday, Sept. 30.
