Barry Myers, age 88, of Sun City, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 14, 2019.
Barry was born on Nov. 26, 1931 in Merrill to his parents Guy & Clara (Keyes) Meyers. He was married on May 3, 1952 to his first wife, Norma, who preceded him in death on November 10, 1997. He later married his second wife, Dorothy, on March 23, 2001. Barry was a retired building contractor. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, a past Master of Tomahawk Lodge 243 F&AM, a member of Rhinelander Lodge #252 F&AM, Valley of Eau Claire Consistory, Zor Shriners & Sun City Center Shrine Club. He served as a combat corpsman with the 1st Marine Division, US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Barry is survived by his wife – Dorothy, Sun City Center, FL; 5 children – Michael Myers of Bozeman, MT, Bruce Myers of Lyons, CO, Vicki Myers of Ravenna, OH, Paula Brueggeman of Palm Bay, FL & Sandra Breedon of Mt. Dora, FL. He is further survived by 4 grandsons, one great granddaughter & his sister – Dorothy Robarge of Bellvue, NE. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife – Norma.
