Jiggin’ for Jayden Memorial fishing tournament organizer Lu Yenter, far right, presents a check to Patti Hilgendorf, far left, and some Kinship Kids from money raised from the fishing contest held at Bradley Park July 20. A total $4,427 was raised and contributed to the youth mentoriing program. “Despite the weather, we had a good turnout,” Yenter said and added it wouldn’t have been possible without the help from all the donors and volunteers including the city’s park department as they cleared storm damage and brought in port-a-potties to use as the power had been knocked out. Winners from this year’s Jiggin’ for Jayden included: Most weight in panfish; 1) Ivy Sayles; 2) Caden Becerra; 3) Mike Waldburger; Most weight in game fish; 1) “Ozzy” Waldburger; 2) Dameon Becerra; 3) Laura Peterson; Biggest musky; Todd Schulz (Musky Moon Guide Service).
