Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report: April 9, 2024

As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, April 9:

On 04/04/2024 a deputy on patrol stopped a vehicle on Moodig Rd. and CTH A in the Town of Bradley for operating left of center. Upon contact, the driver a Tomahawk woman, 46, was showing signs of impairment. The driver was placed through a series of sobriety tests, and as a result of those tests, she was arrested for first offense OWI. The driver was later released to a responsible party.

On 04/05/2024 a deputy on patrol located a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on Tannery Rd. by USH 8 in the Town of Bradley. The driver of the car a Tomahawk man, 21, was found to be showing signs of impairment. The driver refused all roadside tests and as a result was placed under arrest for OWI first offense. The driver resisted the officer’s attempts to take them into custody. The driver also was uncooperative with the ensuing arrest process and stated he would physically resist the officer. While in the back of the transport vehicle the driver urinated himself and continuously banged his head in the squad. While in the hospital for a legal blood draw, the subject remained disorderly by yelling and screaming. The subject was then later booked into the Lincoln County Jail for OWI 1st, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

 Deputies conducted 44 traffic stops and 38 security checks.

Deputies responded to one domestic and two car vs. deer crashes

The 911 Center took three hang-up calls and four nuisance calls.
